Born & raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania amidst the Sound of Philadelphia created by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, Pam grew up celebrating her favorite singers like Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Stephanie Mills, Johnny Gill, and many others. Her career in music began in management. Managing a solo singer and rap group signed to Ruff-house Records, Knight was in the heart of the movement with the Fugees, Cyprus Hill, and the early days of Bad Boy Entertainment. Her father, Cullen Knight Jr.; a talented trumpeter and her Mother a dancer gave Knight a front row seat to the music business.

If you had a clue you'd call it Blues. You would probably even say its HOT BLUES. Pamela Knight has been working on a new sound for nearly 4 years now. Searching the world for that sound that would capture her personality and combine it to her voice. The voice that can sing anything wants its own sound. Late spring 2025 the first single STAY WITH ME; a musical masterpiece, starts off with a clear and rich Blues flow in acappella followed up by a FLOETRIST twist in the end. The knew album entitled WHO ASKED PAM will coincide with a short book about finding the freedom in using your own voice for your own purposes and not allowing others to gaslight your shine.
