Her career in music began in management. Managing a solo singer and rap group signed to Ruff-house Records, Knight was in the heart of the movement with the Fugees, Cyprus Hill, and the early days of Bad Boy Entertainment. Her father, Cullen Knight Jr.; a talented trumpeter and her Mother a dancer gave Knight a front row seat to the music business.
